I've designed and printed a case for the Jaguarboard based on the .stl of the board provided on this site.

I've attached the JagCase.stl file for anyone who would like to download and print one for themselves.

I used 1 1/2" machine screws to put it all together.

I also printed little nubs for feet that screw onto the protruding machine screw ends. (not included in stl file) I plan to dip them in Plasti-dip for grip.

Thanks and enjoy!

edit - I've tried attaching it directly to the forum here and am having trouble. here is a dropbox link for the .stl file.

UPDATE
After receiving the board I tried putting it into this case. There are a few design flaws I should point out, and I will try to edit the file to correct them.

it appeared (based on the stl) that #6 machine screws were the correct fit, and that's what the case is designed for. however, upon receiving the board, i quickly realized a #6 screw was just a hair too big for the mounting holes on the board. I had to bump down to #4 machine screws, and thus the nuts don't seat properly (read perfectly) in the case. this is a purely aesthetic and very minor issue.

part of the base has to be filed a bit to make room for the power connector. this is also fairly minor and hardly noticeable.

lastly, and most disappointing, is the access to the audio and mic jacks. I didn't design nearly enough clearance for an 1/8" plug and cannot plug in any audio cable I own for lack of clearance. Thus, I cannot have sound with the board mounted in the case. :(

I plan to modify the bottom, reprint and test it. I will post the corrected part as soon as I can.

On the plus side. the square air vent in the top is just big enough to fit a fan directly onto the cpu heatsink (attached with #4 3/4" screws). and thanks to usb cable butchery and some soldering I have active cooling on my jaguarboard. The downside is it currently takes a usb port to power. I'd like to solder the fan power directly to the board, but I'm not sure where a +5v or ground connection point is, and did not see any detailed schematics available. can anyone point me in the right direction?

pics coming soon, as is an updated 3D print file.

Hi Sir,

JaguarBoard did not provide pins to for power output. We will think about it in next version.

Here are some pics with the board (and fan) in the case. I found that I can plug in low profile audio jacks (like the ones found on most headphones), but larger/normal 1/8" audio jacks will be problematic.

Updated 3d print file coming soon.

might it be possible to power the fan through the GPIO pins?
