Just received the board this week.

First problem:
When I try to boot into Fedora at the login prompt I get the following when I type "root" from my keyboard.
^[r ^[o ^[o ^[t
I've tried multiple wired usb keyboards plugged directly into the board that work fine on other devices. I don't think it's the keyboard but more likely the keyboard mapping from the Fedora installation? I can't figure out how to change it. If I boot into the UEFI shell the keyboard works just fine.

Second problem:
I created an Ubuntu 14.04 flash drive with the server installation. When boot into it and go through the install it always fails to discover the network interface so the installation will not continue. I'm following the directions here --> www.jaguarboard.org:8090/display/ED/JaguarBoard+Quick+Start+Guide

Any help would be much appreciated. My goal is to run Ubuntu 14.04 server on the board.

Thanks!

A1: www.jaguarboard.org/index.php/forum/troubles...irst-bootup.html#315

A2: Ubuntu is not stable, seems because of eMMC driver, pls try to use Debian 8.1, it has been tested, stable enough.

Hey,

just tried to install ubuntu server 16.04 and I got the same problem with the missing eth0 interface. This is really annoying. I initially wanted to install CoreOS but the ubuntu live version freezed every time I clicked on something in the UI. Is there a reasonable explanation about all these issues?

HI Sir,
The 1G RAM is not enough for running Ubuntu live desktop, it will freeze due to lack of RAM. Please try Debian 8.x, it is stable.
