As far as i know all the x86 PC's that run UEFI/EFI have a single bios for whatever OS (Linux or Windows).
So i was just curios as to why does the jaguar board has a separate BIOS for windows and Linux?
Also it seems that the Linux bios file name ends with 'a64' and i presume it stands for amd64 or 64bit CPU and similarly for windows we have a 'w32' bios so am i right to assume that Linux runs full 64bit, but Windows will only run 32 bit?
thnx.

Hi,

Thanks for your focus on JaguarBoard!

Your questions about the CPU information,we use the CPU is:Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU Z3735 @1.33GHZ

About your questions why need different UEFI version!
This is decided by our hardware solution, now it can support Linux 64 bits,Windows 32 bits!

Best Regards!
