The cpu does get warm to the touch under load, and keeping things nice and cool is good for longevity of the components.

plus I think it looks cool

and its functional.

And because I want to.

I like to tinker and modify stuff,

any reason to not slap a fan on it?

OK, I think you can make the fan run on next version, we will make +5v/3.3v work.

Great work! I noticed you installed a FAN, where did you get the power source?

As you can see most clearly in the first picture, I just used an old USB cable, isolated the 5v and ground wires out and connected them to the fan. Works like a charm, though it takes up a USB port. So between the fan, wifi, and mouse & keyboard, the 3 USB slots are all spoken for.

That USB dongle is gonna come in handy!
