Hi Sir,

I have built a dd image file for you. It is debian 8.5 with gnome desktop.
You can download here:
yunpan.cn/cMgyvGSXWM4AT
Acess code: 61d2

BTW, please set DVMT pre-allocated memory to 32M, which can release some RAM for system running.

Thank you Tim. Adjusting the Video Memory to 32mb didn't make any difference. I am downloading the image you made me, thank you, it is only downloading at 32kb/s, even using a download accelerator, so it will be a while before I can report back.

Tim,

Testing now. Let me ask you this./// What is the maximum Amperage used by the Jaguar Board? I found that if I use a 2a usb wall port the JaguarBoard crashes. If I use a 2.4a it seems more stable. I would like to provide as high of amperage as I can to give it what it might use. I'me pretty sure USB standard is 2.4a but I wasn't sure if the JaguarBoard might require more in certain circumstances such as when using an external harddrive powered through usb?

Hi Sir,
We provide 5V, 2A standard adaptor as default and I use it in my test with only keyboard inserted, no other usb devices loade, It is working fine.

If you need to use more USB devices, please choose a USB HUB with external power supply source or stronger adaptor (5v, 3a or above).

When using USB harddrive, it is better to use a HUB with power source, the output of USB on board is 500ma in MAX, not enough to drive the harddisk.

Tim,

I have swapped the 2a adapter I received from JaguarBoard with a 2.4a adapter. I have a mouse, keyboard, and USB Nano Wifi adapter (Max consumption rated: 330mA) connected. After replacing all of the provided power adapters I haven't gotten a crash running Debian with minimal software (the jdk app I require).

Testing GUI's that require more processing power and RAM on the board it would crash with only a mouse and keyboard connected (No wifi) while running the 2a adapter in the tests I've done.

I haven't tested anything other than Debian with the 2.4a adapter, but as of now my boards seem to be stable.
