Well I may have alleviated the problem by creating a script with Scheduler to reboot the Jaguarboard every night at 1am.

This has worked so far for the last two weeks but it does not solve the larger problem of why this needs to be done in the first place?

What do you mean the larger problem?

As I stated the larger issue is why is freezes at all.

If the jaguarboard is meant to like a RPi and run headless in many situations, then it shouldnt freeze on a regular basis. Other users on this forum have reported similar problems with Debian Im simply reporting that the issue also exists with Win10 and therefore a potentially larger issue with the board.

Hi Sir,

Sorry for the issue you faced but I am afraid I can not agree with your way of seeing things.
About the freezing issue, it is not just a YES or NO question, you can not conclude it is because of hardware faulty. The factors for resulting in freezing could be hardware, Operating system, Software, Environment Temperature and so on, how can you conclude it is not because of other factors but only hardware issue?

I want to ask you some questions:
1. Did you test the complete same situation on other hardware (Operation system, software, environment, everything but hardware ) ?
2. Did you test other OS on this board? Can you try Debian 8.1 64bit ? I have tested it for running over 1 month, still working fine. If Debian 8.1 can works fine and stable on your board, can you still say it is hardware faulty?

I am not saying Jaguarboard is perfect and no issues at all, even the great Apple sells broken iphones.
I just want you to conclude the result after enough test and provide solid evidence. If you can prove it is hardware faulty, we will replace you a fresh new board.

BTW, if you google keyword "RPi freezing", you will find lots of reports about freezing, can you say RPi is a bad product?

hello
I have installed Windows 10 and all drivers from this site. All hardware is notes to be working according to Device Manager. I am not able to reach my network here at home. Can not get an IP address from the router, keeps using the internal 168.xxx.xxx.xxx address. I have turned off the Firewall, then setup the network adapter to Static Address. still cant get to the router. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this? I have also reload the drivers a few times.

Hi Sir,

Can you create a USB system with OpenELEC and boot from USB disk to check if the NIC is working or not?
www.jaguarboard.org:8090/display/ED/Turn...HD+Multimedia+Player

If it is working with OpenELEC, that means something wrong with your win10 system; if not, something with hardware, need RMA.
