Jaguar Board series CPU board is small form factor system boards optimized for network security applications. With the Intel latest Atom Z3700 series processor, it is easy to develop a fanless system which has more reliability. Integrated up to 1 Ethernet;1 Wireless network .Provide a flexible application for customers. With such features, it is apparent to shorten time to market, and increase the value of customer.

Chapter 4 BIOS Setup Guide

 

Managing and updating your BIOS

Save a copy of the original motherboard BIOS file to a USB flash disk in case you need to restore the BIOS in the future. Copy the original motherboard BIOS using the update utility

FPT Update

FPT Update is a utility that allows you to update your motherboard BIOS firmware

With this utility, you must run under EFI-SHELL

BIOS Updater

1) Insert the USB flash disk that contains the latest BIOS File and FPT Burn tool to the USB port.

 

2) Press <del> to enter the BIOS setup 

2) Press <F10> to save configure and exit.

3) EFI shell to run the burn tool to update the bios  firmware

DO NOT shut down or reset the system while updating the BIOS to prevent system from booting failure!

BIOS menu

1)   Main 

The main menu provides you an overview of the basic system information, and allows you to set the system date, time, language.

2)  Advanced

The advanced menu items allows you to change the settings for the CPU and other system devices.

3)  Chipset

The chipset menu items allow you to change the settings for the  South bridge and north bridge device ( Graphics management).

4) The Security menu items allow you to change the settings for the security settings.

5) The boot menu items allow you to change the system boot options.

6) The Save & Exit items allow you to load the optimal default values for the BIOS items, and save or discard your changes to the BIOS items.
