Can I make a bootable USB drive with win32bit installation and install win7 using win8 video drivers, in my jaguardboard??? If not, why not?? UEFI supports win7 as far as I know.

Hi Sir,

We never test it and we never suggest anyone to run win7 on JaguardBoard. Win7 needs at least 2G RAM to run smoothly, but JB has only 1G for now.

According to the official system requirements of Windows 7 on Microsoft's site, it appears 32-bit Windows 7 can run on 1GB of ram.
Windows 7 system requirements
If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:
  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor*
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Has anyone attempted this, or had any luck with the drivers?
